About us & The History of Shadowlands

The barn was built about 300 years ago for agricultural use. In recent years it had become redundant for farming purposes. However, it sprung to life in 1992 when it featured in the film Shadowlands, starring Anthony Hopkins, about the life of author C.S. Lewis. In 2003 it was converted to residential use.
